Let us introduce you to the Skipper of the Boat, Peter Roots

As soon as you start to talk with him you will know what we mean when we say he has a passion for fishing, his appetite for the big ones is insatiable. Peter grew up on the Gold Coast and began his working career as a cabinetmaker, however his passion for the water and fishing soon saw him embark on a varied and exciting full time career in the fishing Industry.

Peters like a walking talking encyclopaedia of fishing. Spear Fishing, bottom fishing, game fishing and everything in between. He has worked the waters of Far North Queensland, Lizard Island, Gladstone and the Gold Coast and it doesn’t stop there. Tasmania, Vanuatu and Florida are also a significant part of Peters Portfolio. He even expanded his skills by working a Pearl dive boat in Broome

Learning the Industry from legendary Pioneers, Laurie Wright and Brian Felton, means that Peter takes his game fishing and boating very seriously. His boat skills are exceptional, with people skills to match. It’s easy to understand why he was part of the champion team that took out the most trophies on the Gold Coast, Champion Boat, Champion Angler & most Marlins.

Victoria Smith: Stewardess/Hostess

Known for her warm hospitality and extraordinary people and fishing skills, Victoria is an integral member of the Little Audrey team. This pint sized blonde is no stranger to the champions podium when it comes to game fishing. Three times, NSW Interclub Champion, for both capture and tag & release, along with many other awards, Victoria can certainly hold her own in the world of fishing.

Her fishing experience is vast and international stretching from the east coast of Australia to Central and North America, her catches include Blue and Black & Striped Marlin, Dolphin Fish, Shark and even caught a 45KG Yellow Fin, weighed the same as she does! So when it comes to knowing where to be on a boat and when this lady is very well versed.

When you combine her broad based hospitality experience, ranging from owning her own businesses to catering manager of key sites for Carlton Breweries and Qantas Airlines, her extensive boating & fishing experience, and her addiction to the highest level of customer service, you have what we consider to the best hostess in the business!
